Free YouTube to MP3 conversion

Pick your bitrate
128 kbps is the free standard and keeps files small. Supporters can choose 256 kbps for high quality or 320 kbps for the maximum MP3 bitrate — the better choice for music or audio you plan to edit. The bitrate can't add detail that wasn't in the original upload, so the source video's audio quality sets the ceiling.
Audio and video from the same tool
The same link works for both. Switch to Video Clip to cut a section of the video as MP4, or stay on MP3 Audio for the whole soundtrack. Files are named after the video, so your downloads folder stays readable.

Is YouTube to MP3 on EzCutter really free?

Can I download only part of the audio?
MP3 mode currently takes the whole video's audio. To keep one section, cut it as an MP4 clip with the Video Clip tab.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. EzCutter runs in the browser, and the MP3 saves to your downloads or the Files app.
Can I clip any YouTube video?
Use EzCutter for videos you own, videos with a Creative Commons or similar licence, or clips you have permission to reuse. You are responsible for respecting the creator's rights and YouTube's terms. Private and age-restricted videos may not load.
